Take a trip back in time!
The underground tunnels of the citadel of Laon are the ideal place to go back through the history of this medieval city. There are Gallo-Roman remains, a 19th century shooting gallery, giant fossilized whelks, mine shafts, a powder magazine … all just a few metres below buildings that are still inhabited today.
