Enjoy life on the farm and the animals when staying at the gîte de la Ferme de Berque, a converted barn between Soissons and Reims, 1 hr 30 min. from Paris. Your children can find out all about horses, pigs, sheep, hens and bees. Other outdoor activities can include walking/riding on some of the many tracks nearby, playing in the garden and feeding the animals. There are many places to visit in the area: Septmonts castle, Condé fort and the Retz forest – ideal for nature walks with younger children. Children (of all ages) will love a trip to Disneyland Paris, the Parc Astérix or the Mer de Sable theme parks - all under 1 hr 20 min. away.
