Your stay :

Now for the time travel bit. You start your holiday in the 12th century, close to Soissons and not far from Reims, staying in a luxury residence at the foot of a listed, historical building: Droizy castle (12-15th century). This stronghold, whose ramparts are also listed, was once home to a certain La Hire who fought alongside Joan of Arc.
The current owners will inspire you with their knowledge of the castle’s history and their tales of historical events in the area – you will be transported from the Middle Ages, via the Hundred Years’ War to the Great War of 1914-18 on the Chemin des Dames …
… before a pleasant return to the 21st century thanks to the spa and indoor heated swimming pool.


Your accommodation :

Luxury apartment (31 to 43 sq. m.) with fitted kitchen, bathroom with whirlpool bath, electrically controlled double bed, home cinema, Broadband Internet access. An indoor heated swimming pool (4x8m) and spa in converted castle barn are open to guests. Beauty treatments, massage and hairdressing services are available (please book ahead - 72 hours).


The price includes :

1 night on half-board terms, including drinks (starter, main course, dessert, 1 bottle wine, water) - Admission to heated swimming pool and spa.
