Your stay :

ramble through the rolling, hedge-trimmed meadows of the Thiérache, often called “Little Normandy” with its dairy farms and milk production. Be sure to try the local Maroilles cheese.
In the midst of this lovely, leafy countryside stand the strikingly unusual, red brick fortified churches. You will be staying in the village of Nouvion-en-Thiérache, an officially recognised country holiday centre, ideal for a refreshing stop-over after a day’s hiking and sight-seeing.


Your accommodation :

The 2 star Hotel La Paix is a 3 ‘cheminées’ standard Logis de France hotel with 15 rooms at the very heart of the Thiérache countryside. There is a restaurant, terrace, bar and car park.
The restaurant has a "Restaurateur de France" quality label and offers modern, sophisticated gourmet food based on local produce, created by the chef, Didier Pierrart, a local Thiérache man.


The price includes :

2 nights on half-board terms, including drinks (1 ‘Menu du Terroir’ and 1 ‘Menu Gastronomique’, water, half bottle wine per person, coffee or tea) - Details of walking routes with colour map (IGN) - 1 route card for 2 people.


The price doesn't include :
