• Development and promotion of new fields of tourist activity (walking, waterways, fishing,…).
  
  
• Assistance in the creation of tourist accommodation (hotels, outdoors, "Gîtes Ruraux" and "Logis de France"). Financial monitoring for the Departmental governing body (the "Conseil Général") and for Europe.
  
  
• Implementation of tourism quality charters and bringing tourism service providers on stream.
  
  
• Initiating marketing activities (press receptions, trade fairs and shows) and promotional pump-priming (receptions for tour operators, travel agents, etc.).
  
  
• Marketing of accommodation ("gîtes ruraux"), group based products and package deals for individuals.

The CDT has a team of about twenty people and an annual budget of 1.42 million Euros, 80% of which comes from Aisne Conseil Général (County Concil). A copy of our latest activity report (only in French) can be downloaded in the Professional forum heading.
